October 5, London: Ebiquity, the leading independent marketing and media analytics consultancy, today launches a new media management capability. The new unit will provide strategic media consultancy services to advertisers around the world who are looking to better manage their media operations.
The announcement comes at a time when questions hang over the industry that could have profound implications for advertisers:
- Facebook admits to overestimating the performance of its video advertising inventory
- Dentsu in Japan had overcharged Toyota for digital services, with subsequent reports that over 100 Dentsu clients are affected
Earlier this summer, Ebiquity, and subsidiary FirmDecisions, published with the ANA in the US guidelines for advertisers on achieving greater media transparency. While the report focused on the US, the recommendations have global resonance and implications, and urged marketers to exert greater control over how their investment in media is being spent. The Wall Street Journal recently reported a number of brands are reviewing their media agency contracts since the report was published.
The team, spread across Ebiquity’s offices in 14 countries, will help clients to address their strategic, tactical and operational challenges in today’s increasingly complex media landscape. They’ll advise clients on data, adtech, operations, agency management, and strategy, while providing training to help senior marketers fill any skills gaps that exist in their teams.
Ebiquity’s media management capability is being led by Laetitia Zinetti, the former head of media for Nissan in Europe who joined Ebiquity in 2010 as Managing Director of the Company’s French operations.
