Ebiquity makes leadership changes in UK & Ireland and Continental Europe

Leading independent media and marketing consultancy, Ebiquity, announces the promotion of Nick Pugh PhD to Managing Director, UK & Ireland and the appointment of Laetitia Zinetti as Managing Director for Continental Europe to replace outgoing Mauricio Barange, who retires. Both will report into Global President, Richard Basil Jones.

To drive and deliver the strategic vision of becoming the world’s leading ‘left brain’ advisor to CMOs, Nick and Laetitia will continue to shape unique solutions across practices and markets. Given the complex challenges facing brand marketers today, Ebiquity is in a unique position to help drive greater business impact through robust, independent, data-driven solutions.

In the UK & Ireland, Nick’s appointment represents a significant step towards delivering Ebiquity’s strategic vision. Previously head of Ebiquity’s advanced analytics practice in the UK, Nick is a highly-respected leader. He has played a key role in shaping Ebiquity’s offering, including developing Ebiquity’s algorithmic approaches to marketing analytics, recruiting and developing data science and analytics capabilities, and also spearheads a number of internal key initiatives, including Ebiquity’s employee diversity programme. Furthermore, Nick has a proven track-record of success for some of Ebiquity’s largest clients, including leading key client relationships with Arla, Ferrero, and Krispy Kreme.

Laetitia Zinetti will be responsible for shaping Ebiquity’s offering across Continental Europe. In her previous role, she has successfully led the expansion of Ebiquity’s media management practice, which offers specialised strategic consultancy services to help brands better manage their media investments, including agency selection, agency management, process reviews, and advertiser operating models and capabilities. She has led Ebiquity’s work in this area with leading brands across all of its key media partners, with a significant focus on digital capabilities, and often in partnership with Ebiquity’s tech advisory practice. She recently led Ebiquity’s work with McDonald’s on a global agency selection assignment, and with L’Oreal on multi-market agency selection.

Ebiquity is continually evolving in response to new and emerging challenges for brands, and Nick and Laetitia’s appointments reflect the significant evolution that Ebiquity’s services have undergone,” said Richard Basil Jones. “Ebiquity is far more than just media performance measurement, and these appointments represent a significant step towards delivering on our vision of becoming the leading global strategic media and marketing advisors to CMOs.”

On his appointment, Nick Pugh said:

The opportunity that lies ahead for Ebiquity is vast. We have never been better placed to help brand owners navigate the fast moving, complex marketing landscape. However, we cannot sit still. We need to continue to innovate and further evolve our tools & services to ensure we provide best-in-class advice to our clients.”

On her appointment, Laetitia Zinetti said:

I’m thrilled to be working with a fantastic team across Europe. We are in a great position to continue leading the way for independent media and marketing advisory services across the continent, and I look forward to continuing to shape and evolve our offering around our clients’ primary needs.”

Richard adds,

We also thank Mauricio for his outstanding work as our MD for Continental Europe, and wish him well in his retirement”.
