In the Press: America’s Big Tech reform will benefit the world

Tim Hussain, Managing Principal, Ebiquity Tech, discusses the US government plan to pass the mooted changes to Big Tech regulation, has been featured in the Financial Times.

As the US looks to bring in some of the protections of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, Tim argues that “while there’s an argument that this is just the US playing catch-up with the global privacy and consumer leadership shown by the EU, these changes will make it much harder for many global companies to delay taking the necessary steps to give customers control”.

He highlights that “these businesses need to look beyond their revenues and share price and aim to conform to the highest global standards”.
