Ebiquity plc appoints Francesca Leronni as Group Director of Responsible Media

Today, Ebiquity Plc announces the appointment of Francesca Leronni as Group Director of Responsible Media. Headquartered in Amsterdam, Francesca will report to Ruben Schreurs, Group Chief Product Officer, and she will be leading the design, maintenance, and deployment of the new Ebiquity Responsible Media Investment solution.

Ebiquity launched an ‘ESG framework’ for media investment, which offers clients global oversight of their exposure against key responsibility metrics, including policy and performance on diversity and equal opportunity, environmental sustainability, and efforts to improve consumer privacy and data protection.

Francesca brings a strong track record in media. She covered various media agency, digital media auditing and consultancy roles across Italy, the UK and the Netherlands. She has also held roles at MEC, Maxus, OMD and MullenLowe Profero. In 2016, she joined Ebiquity UK Media practice, and from 2019 has supported the business directly out of Amsterdam, where she was involved in deploying the Ebiquity digital media auditing methodology.

Nick Waters said:

This is an exciting development for Ebiquity and there is no one better suited to lead this than Francesca as Director of our Responsible Media solution. One of our primary differentiators at Ebiquity is our independence, and this also sits at the heart of our Responsible Media solution. We are delighted that we can now help our clients drive their own agendas in this space.

Ruben Schreurs said:

Ebiquity’s ‘ESG framework’ for media investment offers clients global oversight of their exposure against key sustainability criteria. Francesca’s experience will enable us to provide practical direction to help brands improve investment decisions and demonstrate to their own boards and shareholders that they are investing with a conscience to deliver principle-driven growth.

On her appointment, Francesca said:

Ebiquity’s focus on helping advertisers adopt Responsible Media principles, is in line with our own internal corporate priorities to improve our business and its impact on society. I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to pursue my desire to make the industry more sustainable and transparent, and to help our clients improve investment decisions and demonstrate to their own boards and shareholders that they are investing with a conscience.
